paper is coming together. have the infrastructure down well enough I can see the light. the store is coming together as well, just need to buckle down on both of them and churn some stuff out. must sleep or penguins will eat me.

So here's the goal.
To create a newspaper that is:
1) Completely viewed and distributed in-world
2)financialy viable
3)distributed weekly, both to free vendors and via a subscription service.
4)reports on the issues that people want to read about.

I have a feeling this project might kill me but its to the point where I can feel all the pieces coming together enough that its feasible. More on this as it develops.

That something is love.
In this case, the love between Seldon Metropolitan and Maeve Morgan.This is not a love like the love of pie.This is not a love like the love of high fps.This is not a love like the forums love drama.This is love between two people, and as such is beyond all monetizing, client updates, lag, and lame-ass W-hattish attempts at Total Grid Crashing.This is love, in particular, between our two wonderful friendsOne of whom is my own little brother (awwwws!) and the other of whom is the woman he was lucky (damned lucky, I'll say!) to meet and well, I was going to say "win the heart of."But inasmuch as love is a game at all --- and it's NOT, it's a goddam PLATFORM--- these two, Seldon and Maeve, have won EACH OTHER'S hearts.
And we are here to witness, virtually and metaphorically, but no less REALLY, the joining of those hearts in the bonds of SL matrimony.

Damn fermented potatos

got back yesterday from the SLCC shindig. still trying to sort it out in my head, lost most of it in a vodka-induced coma.

Met some awesome people, all in all, and had a great time running around NYC. vegas in april sounds like a good time for the next con.

I will file a full report here and with the herald soon enough.
